Indian boy

Paul Jacobs

I took a walk in the Thar desert during my trip through Northwestern India during the late 1980s. I sat in the collosal sand dunes in solace and contemplated how great life was. All of a sudden, a little boy popped up over the crest of the sand dune to greet me. All this was done in total silence, and as quickly as he arrived, he disappeared. This painting honours this boy and the various mental images I had indelibly stored in my mind from this wonderful Indian journey.
